I'm doing some brief admin work on xkcd.network to try and reduce the bus factor a little. There may be some brief interruption to service.
I realise at this point that I really should have said "increase the bus factor" -- I meant to imply that I was reducing the number of single points of failure.
Purposefully reducing the bus factor is a silly idea, like revoking @kalium's ssh access to iris (the xkcd.network server).
(As it stands, the bus factor adjustments I made amount to giving @kalium the permissions to turn the lights on and off on the mastodon processes on iris, in case I wind up away from an internet connection and security updates need done at short notice.)
